Sebastian Speier is an Art Director and Graphic Designer with experience in both print and web environments. He thrives in creative and challenging situations, and values collaboration with like-minded inviduals. Sebastian aims to develop thoughtful, inspiring and innovative solutions. Currently he is an Art Director at SapientNitro and is a co-founder of Matte Black Studio.

  • Deliver strong and standards-compliant concepts based on creative direction.
  • Come up with middle of the road solutions, when copy, usability, and development can't see eye-to-eye.
  • Use a client's brand guidelines to lead online presence, while keeping it contemporary and modern.
  • Understand current trends and philosophies in usability and can design with efficiency in mind.
  • Animate flash banners and bumpers that are optimized for mass media web standards.
  • Use a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator and Pixelmator to make deliverables the best that they can be.
  • Keep work ahead of schedule so that revisions do not run a project over budget.
  • Work alongside other designers, and can take leadership role when there is a need for one.
  • Comp rapid storyboards for animated and time-based deliverables.
